dpm-server-postgres software package provides Disk Pool Manager (DPM) server with postgres database backend, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dpm-server-postgres
dpm-server-postgres is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dpm-server-postgres package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dpm-server-postgres *
You will get with dpm-server-postgres package name, version, architecture and description in a table
